Salsa: Every night!
Located in the "Bournazi" area of Athens, which
is full of clubs, bars and cafes. Enzzo de Cuba
has two areas, an indoor club and an outdoor patio
where they play salsa. This outdoor area has an impressive
decoration that resembles the colonial architecture of Old
Havana. The best salsa dancers are usually here. Besides
salsa and merengue, the DJs also play plenty of reggaeton
and samba.

Situado en la zona "Bournazi" de Atenas, llena
de discotecas, bares y cafeterías. Enzzo
de Cuba tiene dos partes, una discoteca cerrada
y un patio al aire libre donde se toca salsa. Este patio
tiene una decoración impresionante, que se parece
a la arquitectura colonial de la Habana Vieja. Los mejores
bailadores de salsa normalmente están aquí.
Aparte de salsa y merengue, los DJ tocan bastante reggaeton
y samba.

Salsa: every night.
This crowded bar/restaurant is the best place for Cuban
salsa in Athens. The DJ is Cuban and there is always a live
band with musicians from Cuba. There isn't much space here
for dancing, especially on the weekends.

Este bar/restaurante, normalmente lleno de gente, es el
mejor sitio para salsa cubana en Atenas. El DJ es cubano
y siempre hay un grupo en vivo con músicos de Cuba.
En la Cubanita hay poco sitio para bailar, sobre todo los
fines de semana.

Fuego is the best place to dance and have a good time. The crowd
here is mostly latinos, and you will hear lots of salsa colombiana,
as the owner and DJ are from the land of the cumbia. |

Salsa: every night.
The oldest salsa club in Athens. The program usually consists
of local live acts every day except Wednesday and Sunday.The
crowd at Palenque is mostly made up of Greek students from the
nearby university faculties. There is plenty of dancing at Palenque
and it's nice to go there to see a concert, but the atmosphere
doesn't match the latino feeling of Fuego. |

La más antigua discoteca de salsa de Atenas. Conciertos
de grupos locales todos los días aparte de miércoles
y domingo. La mayoría de la gente en el Palenque son
estudiantes griegos de las facultades universitarias cercanas.
Se baila bastante en el Palenque y es un buen sitio para ver
un concierto de salsa, pero el ambiente no es tan latino como
en el Fuego. |
