On Mondays, it hosts a Cuban Salsa and Rueda de Casino Night with Cuban line dancing around 10 p.m., probably a first in Hong Kong. There is a Cuban salsa class for beginners included in the entrance fee that goes from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. and the party starts from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. The organiser of this night is Hong Kong's only Cuban Salsa and Rueda de Casino instructor and hence the night is dedicated to this style of salsa. The DJ will also play Bachata and Merengue. There is no entrance fee.

On Thursdays, it hosts a salsa night. This is a beautiful club with great sound system and lighting. It is gaining popularity among the salseros and the place is well packed with On-1 and cuban dancers. The DJ plays mostly Cuban salsa, including Timba, as well as Bachata, Merengue and Reggaeton, the latter played mostly late in the night. There is an entrance fee of HKD100, which includes 1 standard drink. The beginners salsa lesson goes from 8 - 9 p.m. and the party from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

On Wednesdays, it hosts a Latin night. It is a Latin night as opposed to salsa because not only salsa is played, but also merengue, bachata and reggaeton (although mostly at midnight when the salsa crowd is leaving). There are live percussionists accompanying the music. Because of its location in Lan Kwai Fong, Hong Kong's most famous bar and club area, many non-dancers show up at the venue as well to dance or just to drink and watch, which may pose a problem for some serious salsa dancers as the dance floor space is very small. On Thursdays, it opens its doors to Salsa. The DJ here is Asia's only female professional and international Salsa DJ (DJ Michelle) and hence, the more experienced dancers will frequent the place. She plays both on-1 and on-2 music and therefore the dancers tend to be the more experienced LA style and New York style dancers. There is NO salsa lesson on this night, just a salsa party from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m., although DJ Michelle will continue to spin if there is a good crowd. Club Dancing Jupiter Primer Piso 18 Terraza Jupiter North Point, Hong Kong +852 2169 3999 Viernes 8:00 p.m. a la medianoche. Dancing Jupiter es más un estudio de baile que un Club. Hoy en día califica, junto con Club 97 como el Club que ha tocado salsa regularmente en su repertorio por más tiempo en Hong Kong. Como también es estudio de baile éste es la mejor pista durante las noches de salsa ya que esta acondicionado para bailarines y créanme, éso hace una gran diferencia. La pista de baile es espaciosa por lo que se justifica un poco la falta de ambiente de club. Muchos principiantes han comenzado aquí y se ha vuelto algo así como la meca de la salsa para los bailarines. Seguro los Lunes no encontrarás muchos bailarines profesionales con excepción de los instructores pero muchos principiantes se sienten a gusto aquí. Club Dancing Jupiter Ground Floor 18 Jupiter Terrace North Point, Hong Kong +852 2169 3999 Fridays 8 p.m. to midnight Dancing Jupiter is not so much a club as it is more a dance studio. It now qualifies as Hong Kong's longest running regular salsa night, together with Club 97. As it is also a dance studio, it has the best dance floor of all the salsa nights as it is custom made for dancers and believe me, it makes all the difference. The dance floor is spacious and makes up for the lack of club ambience. Many beginners start out here and it has become more or less their 'mecca' for salsa dancing. As with Mondays, you will not find many experienced dancers (with the exception of the instructors), but many beginners will feel very comfortable here. There is a salsa lesson from 9 to 9:30 p.m. and the party will begin right after that until strictly midnight. Salsa and bachata is played and entrance fee is HKD60, which includes 1 standard drink.

Sin embargo los Jueves son dedicados a la música Salsa para los salseros de Hong Kong. But on Tuesdays, it hosts salsa music for Hong Kong's salseros. There is a salsa class for beginners included in the entrance fee that goes from 8 to 9 p.m. and the party starts from 9 p.m. all the way to 1 a.m. Dancers are mostly LA style on-1 although there are some On-2 dancers who frequent the establishment. Salsa, Bachata and Merengue are played. There is no Cuban salsa per se, but sometimes the DJ will spin Cuban tunes. Entrance fee is HKD100, which includes 2 standard drinks. www.sugar.hk.com
Dance Concept Studios 13th Floor, The Pemberton, 22-26 Bonham Strand, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong +852 9634 9770 Llamado SOS por su nombre en inglés, Salsa on Sunday, este es un evento social los domingos en la noche en un estudio de baile de 2,800 pies cuadrados, y como todo estudio de baile, la pista es excelente. La fiesta comienza en cuanto terminan las clases regulares a las 8:30 p.m., pero apenas sigue hasta las 10:30 p.m. Entonces la mayoría de la gente seguirán la rumba en lugares como Xperience o Joe Bananas. HKD70 entrance fee does not include any drinks, but these can be purchased for around HKD10. Music played is purely mambo.

Joe Bananas 23 Luard Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong +852 2529 1811 Domingos Joe Bananas es una institución en materia de clubs en Hong Kong y ha estado en escena cerca de 2 décadas. Es un lugar clásico para ir a buscar romance durante la semana pero los Domingos por la noche y cuando los Marines Americanos no estan en la ciudad la salsa es lo que se toca predominantemente. Hay una clase para damas de 7:00 a 8:00 p.m y para principiantes de 8:00 a 9:00 p.m. La fiesta comienza después de la clase y hasta la medianoche. La pista de baile es de madera y buenísima para bailar, lo malo es que debido a la competencia de la Noche de Salsa en los diferentes clubs tales como Xperience y Wanachai, no hay muchos salseros que vengan aquí. La entrada es libre por lo que aquellos que no desean pagar cover éste es el lugar perfecto. It is a rowdy, pick-up place on most nights, but on Sunday nights, and only when the US Marines are not in town, it is tamed by salsa. A ladies' styling class begins at 7 to 8 p.m. and a beginner salsa class from 8 to 9 p.m. Dancing commences from 9 p.m. to midnight. The dance floor here is wooden and great for dancing, but unfortunately due to the competitive salsa night at Xperience not too far away and in the same area of Wanchai, there are not many salseros who come here. There is no entrance fee and so for those not wishing to pay an entrance fee, this would be place to go. Salsa and Bachata are played here and most dancers are On-1 LA style dancers. www.joebananas.com
Jubilee Restaurant and Bar Unit A & B Primer Piso Man On Commercial Edificio Central, Hong Kong +852 2542 1255 Sábado 8:30 a 2:00 a.m. Jubilee está siempre lleno de salseros. Si lo que buscas es ambiente, éste es el lugar. La música, sin embargo, es muy rápida y más bien para bailar salsa Cubana o Colombiana. También se toca Timba, los que buscan el estilo Cubano serán felices aquí. Los que buscan el estilo Nueva York se decepcionarán un poco ya que la mayoría de las canciones son para bailar en-1. For salsa ambience, this is the place to be. The music, however, is mostly very fast and suited to Colombian or Cuban style salsa dancing. Timba is also played hence, Cuban style dancers will be happy here. New York Style dancers, however, will be disappointed as most songs are suited for On-1 dancers. The DJ plays fast salsa, Cuban salsa, bachata, merengue and reggaeton and as space is not very big, it is sometimes frustrating. Most salseros will go out on a Saturday night and hence Jubilee becomes very busy and packed by 10 p.m. For the experienced dancers, it is a place for socialising as much as dancing. There is a salsa lesson for beginners and intermediates from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. and the party will begin as soon as the lessons finish and continue until 2 a.m. Entrance fee is HKD130, which includes 2 standard drinks and snacks while they last.
Nooch Bar and Club Cosmo Hotel 375-377 Queen's Road East, Wanchai, Hong Kong +852 3552 8388 Este es el lugar salsero más nuevo en Hong Kong. Located in a hotel – Cosmo Hotel, the location is not really close to any train stations, but easily accessible by taxi. The floor is polished concrete, but danceable. Music is mostly for LA style and New York style dancers. The club does not really have a club feel to it, but the high ceiling is pleasant to give the place an air of 'open-ness'. A salsa lesson is held from 8.30 to 9.30 p.m., which is included in the entrance fee of HKD150, which also includes 2 standard drinks. Salsa dancing commences after the lessons end at 9.30 p.m. and goes on to around 2 a.m.
Xperience Primer piso Edif. Asian Orient 33 Lockhart Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong. +852 2143 6008 Domingos 8:00 p.m. a 2:00 a.m. Xperience tiene el mismo DJ que toca los Sábados por lo que en Domingo la selección musical es parecida. Sin embargo, ahora están incluyendo a otros DJs tales como el DJ de M1nt. La música es así un mix de Salsa Cubana, Colombiana y un poco de Mambo, Bachata y Merengue. A veces se toca un poco de reggaetón al final de la noche. El club es también restaurante bar y esta localizado en el distrito rojo de Hong Kong, por lo que hay asistencia de no-bailarines aunque no al nivel de los Miércoles en Club 97. However, they have started to include other DJs in the mix and hence the music is now a mixture of Colombian, Cuban Salsa, a little Mambo, Bachata and Merengue. Reggaeton is sometimes played towards the end of the night. This club is also a bar and restaurant and is located in Hong Kong very tame Red Light District and so you do get the influx of non-dancers, although not to the dizzying level of Wednesday's Club 97. The ambience is good here and the night is packed with salseros. More experienced dancers tend to show up on Sunday than Saturday. There is a salsa lesson for beginners from 8 to 9 p.m. and dancing begins from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Entrance fee is HKD60 for 1 standard drink or HKD80 for 2.
Xperience (NUEVA NOCHE) Primer piso Edif. Asian Orient 33 Lockhart Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong. +852 2143 6008 Martes. Swing de la Costa Oeste y Noche de Salsa, 8:00 p.m. a 12:30 a.m. Esta noche es la misma cosa que los Domingos de Salsa y tiene al mismo promotor, pero es la única en que se toca Swing de la Costa Oeste, la noche es entonces dedicada a Salsa, Swing, Bachata y Merengue. Las lecciones de Swing comienzan a las 8:00 p.m. y dura 45 minutos después de la cual se practica hasta las 10:30 p.m. La fiesta comienza y se dedica 70% Salsa y 30% Swing, Bachata y Merengue. Entrada HKD70, incluye un trago y HDK90 incluye 2.	Xperience (NEW NIGHT) Ground Floor, Asian Orient Building, 33 Lockhart Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong. +852 2143 6008 Tuesdays. West Coast Swing and Salsa Night, 8 p.m. to 12.30 a.m. This is the same venue as one of the Sunday salsa nights, and run by the same promoter. It is the only night where West Coast Swing is taught and the night is dedicated to Salsa and Swing, Bachata and Merengue. West Coast Swing lessons start from 8 p.m. for 45 minutes and Swing dancing practice from 8.45 to 10.30 p.m.. Then the party switches to 70% Salsa and 30% Swing, Bachata and Merengue. Entrance fee is HKD70, including 1 drink or HKD90 for 2.
