la Liguria. L'organizzazione "Noche de rico son" è
guidata dai DJ Herlide, strepitosa Colombiana, e DJ Alex "Ecuador".
Attenzione dalle 22.00 c'è già la fila per entrare,
vi consigliamo la prenotazione per evitare di rimanere fuori.
La musica per quanto riguarda la salsa prevale la Timba,
i mix sono dal reggaeton al merengue per poi sfogare nel pop latino.
La bachata calma la serata caliente.

This venue in the center of Genoa attracts people from all over
the city and elsewhere. The atmosphere is upbeat and the 6 animators
do not allow anyone there just to set and be alone during the evening.

Saturdays are special and often there
is an overflow crowd. That night the venue becomes the reference
point for Latin people from all over the area. The organization,
"Noche de rico son" is headed up by DJ Herlide, an incredible
Colombian girl, and DJ Alex "Ecuador".
Open to the public from 22:00 hours, with people lined up outside
the door to get in. Be sure to make reservations to avoid standing
in line outside.
The music, with regard to the salsa played there, is mostly Timba,
and the mixes are from reggaeton to merengue with a few songs of
Latin Pop thrown in for good measure. Bachata calms down a hot evening.

Historic place in Genoa "on the sea" for a Latin evening,
this place has a capacity of 300-400 people. (In the summer that
doubles thanks to the second outdoor room). DJ Juliánis the Artistic Director and DJ Cubanito spinning
discs. You can also find many other DJs on a rotating schedule who
take over during the season.
The music is mixed to please everyone. You can dance rueda
de casino to Son, changing to Latin Jazz and then
on to the mambo, reggaeton, merengue and bachata complete the lot.

Il locale è caratteristico, dal richiamo caribeno, per
il suo arredamento e funziona anche da ristorante. Dalle 23.00
si balla Latino americano con DJ el Papi, bravo a far scivolare
il suo stampo. L'organizzazione è de La Isla Latina che
invita altri DJ una tantum a rotazione. Il locale è limitato
di metratura ma ben disposto e spesso pieno con gente proveniente

This is a typical venue, with a Carribean style, because of its
furbishing and it functions also as a restaurant. From 23:00 hours
there is Latin American dancing with DJ el Papi, with his impressive
style. Organization by Isla Latina who invite other DJs on rotation.
The venue is not that large but well arranged and often full of
people who come from various parts of the city.
Paola della Isla is another who organizes Latin events at this
venue and gives different classes.

L'organizzazione latina è di Simona Massone che cura anche
l'animazione.
Il Locale è un Ristorante e la sala da ballo si trova vicino
ai tavoli, anche se delimitata da un muro. Si trova di fronte
al Bigo di Genova e il panorama che si gode da lassù è
veramente bello. Il porto antico, la notte e le luci creano l'atmosfera
per coppie che vogliono divertirsi con i balli caraibici e nello
stesso momento isolarsi alla ricerca di un “dialogo”
privato. La salsa è commerciale con brani anche recenti
o vecchio timba,
pronti ad un mix di portoricano per gli amanti del ballo in linea.
DJ Carmen è attenta ai cambiamenti dei salseri, pertanto
in caso di comitive è pronta a stravolgere la serata. Il
locale durante la settimana fa altro genere di musica.

This place is a restaurant and the dance room is next to the tables,
as well as being separated by a wall. It
is situated in front of the Bigo of Genoa and the view from above
is really beautiful.
The ancient port, the night and the lights build an atmosphere
for couples who want to enjoy themselves with the carribean dances
and at the same time isolate themselves searching for that private
dialog. The Salsa music is rather commercial with recent numbers
or the old Timba,
sometimes adding a Puerto Rican mix for those who prefer line
dance. DJ Carmen is sensitive to the changes of the salsa dancers
and is ready to spice up the evening for groups. During the week
this venue offers other kinds of music.

Venue on the sea, right in the downtown of Genoa and hosted by
Rocco Mariani, well known for his numerous dance classes that
vary from the various levels of Cuban and Puerto Rican dances to the Rueda,
cha-cha-chá, tango, to Los Angeles style. Just to mention
a few of the teachers, Rafael Zaias, Amelia de Martis, Mauricio
Hernández, Davide Fazio. In the early afternoon, there
is also a class in liscio.
The venue contains a second room. Starting at 22:00 they have
Caribbean dances with Mauricio and another DJ taking turns on

website. They do not only do Latin dance in the second room, but
you may also find karaoke or other things going on.
