It features smooth hardwood floors, perfect for spinning, and a non-smoking environment. Club Omni is dress-code enforced so come dressed to impress! DJ Alex & DJ Daniel bring you the best mix of Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, and World Music! This is the only place in town where you'll hear 80% salsa and 20% everything else! DJ Moy toca una mezcla de salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaeton, cumbia, punta y pop latino. Salsa nights here are hosted by DJ Moy and he plays a mix of salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaeton, cumbia, punta, and Latin pop. There is good parking in front of the building and the place seems safe for curious non-Latinos wanting to experience something different. I would advise women to travel with a friend, if available.
Mi Tierra 5882 Summer Ave. Teléfono: 901-371-9990 Reseña del club - Este es un restaurante colombiano, cuyo dueña es "La Negra". Las mejores noches son los viernes. Sirven excelente comida criolla y el servicio es bueno. No cobran entrada al club cuando vayas a cenar pero en ocasiones especiales cobran de entre 5 a 10 dólares. Si quieres una buena comida y un lugar acogedor para bailar, entonces vete a Mi Tierra! Cómo llegar: Desde el centro de Memphis, toma la I-40 al este. Sale en Sycamore View y dobla a la izquierda en la salida. Mi Tierra está al lado derecho justo antes de la esquina de Summer con Sycamore View. They serve excellent traditional Colombian food and the service is very friendly. There is no admission fee when you enter for dinner, but on special occasions they will charge a general admission rate from $5-$10. If you want a good meal and a nice cozy place to salsa, then Mi Tierra has something for you! Directions - (From downtown Memphis) Take I-40 East, Exit Sycamore View and turn left from the exit. Mi Tierra will be located on the right just before the Summer/Sycamore View intersection.
Senses the Nightclub 2866 Poplar Ave, Memphis 901-454-4081 Uno de los mejores clubs en Memphis. Salsa cada jueves en la noche comenzando a las 9:00 p.m.! Goza al ritmo de DJ Moi tocando una mezcla de salsa, merengue y reggaetón. El ambiente es agradable con una buena mezcla de gente. La pista es de linóleo, pero no está mal para bailar salsa. Senses tiene buena seguridad así que no hay problema si las mujeres quieren ir solitas. Uno de los nuevos lugares en Memphis para bailar salsa. Groove to DJ Moi as he plays a mix of salsa, merengue, and reggaeton! The atmosphere is lively with a good mix of people. The dance floor is linoleum but pretty good for salsa dancing. Senses has excellent security making it very safe for women to come by themselves. One of Memphis' newest spots for salsa dancing!
Tropical Moon 5099 Old Summer Road Memphis Teléfono: 901-685-7999 Reseña del club: Antes se llamaba "Tequila Rock" que fue el primer club de salsa en Memphis. Hay salsa aquí cada sábado en la noche. El DJ toca salsa, cumbia, merengue, pop latino, tejano, y punta. Es un lugar seguro para los americanos que quieren experimentar algo nuevo pero aconsejo a las damas venir acompañadas. Puertas abren a las 10 p.m. Cobran $5 para entrar. Cómo llegar: Toma la I-240 y sale en Summer Ave. West. Dobla a la izquierda en Old Summer Road. Verás un Banco NBC en la esquina. El club está detras de un club de billar y en frente de un teatro de cine Malco. The DJ plays a mix of salsa, cumbia, merengue, latin pop, tejano, and punta. It is fairly safe for curious Americans to venture and explore, but I would advise women to at least come with an escort. Doors open at 10 p.m. Cover is $5.00 Directions - Take I-240, Exit Summer Ave (West), take a left on Old Summer Rd. You will see an NBC bank at the corner. The club is located behind a pool hall and across from a small Malco movie theater.
