This city has one of the finest Salsa communities anywhere! You can dance 4 nights out of the week from Wednesday through Saturday and always have a decent crowd. The primary style here is LA style though there is a large Cuban and Mexican community.

Andrea's Cha Cha Club @ Grand Café. 832 SE Grand Ave., Portland 503-230-1166 Wednesday – Saturday, 8 p.m. lesson, 9:30 - midnight dance. Cover: $5 This may be the most authentic Cuban Salsa venue in Portland. It is a small and dimly lit place in the basement of the karaoke bar-restaurant at the Grand Café. The walls are covered with nostalgic photos, as well as pictures of known singers and musicians. There is plenty of seating, and plenty of places to put down your drink as you are being asked to dance. With its full bar, and a good DJ, this place has consistently been kicking up some fun dance nights.
